Why Tailors don't get respect, which they should get?

Due to the people's mindset and people's thinking that the tailors are low standard people, they sew the old fashioned clothes, etc. due to these reasons they don't get respect.

But instead, Tailors should get respect, as their profession is so old and each customer have hope with their designed garment. And also they make whatever customers ask them to do with a garment, with full dedication and passions.

The artistry of tailoring is all together defined by the art of designing, cutting, fitting and finishing clothes.

The Tailor's doesn't suffer any type of problems while sewing the garment whereas, the designer may suffer problems like altering the clothes upto the customer's satisfaction.

The intellectual always cuts and divides like a pair of scissors. The heart sews things together and unites like a needle. The tailor uses both.

They do lots of hard work and complete there order before/on time also. As they think that their customers are their brothers and sisters, so they should give their garments on time with proper fitting, design, shape, etc.

Based on the customer’s budget and preference, they buy the fabric and design the garment, which is exclusive and makes them stand out from the crowd.

Now let's know about their nature with their customers -

Their behaviour is so much humble, polite and friendly with all the customers.

They think that their main motto with reference to their behaviour with their customers is to give them satisfaction.

Tailors says-

"Tailor's first of all think that they are satisfied with their work done to make a garment with proper customer satisfaction of the work then only they asked customer that the work done is ok or not, said - Mukesh Bhai Sanchala

The only man I know who behaves sensibly is my tailor; he takes my measurements anew each time he sees me. The rest go on with their old measurements and expect me to fit them.

Tailors offer cheaper costing of the designed garments as compare to the fashion designers.

Tailors feel that they are part of the fashion industry.

Tailors are the backbone of the fashion industry. The fashion designers take the help from the tailor's only to make the garment, but then also the tailor's don't have any problem in doing this work. And due to this there is zero promotional value for them but still, they have no issues with all their serving help.

Final thoughts-

The primary challenge that faces the tailoring industry today is a shift from business formal to casual dress in the workplace. Despite increases in the need for custom apparel, tailoring and alterations offer fewer opportunities.

Despite these challenges, when someone wants to attend a significant life event or make a stunning first impression, a tailor-made suit becomes a must. In India, there are many tailors which don't get respect for their profession, but they should get respect.

Few memorable moments-
