WHY I CHOSE THIS TOPIC:
Trypophobia brings on feelings of disgust or
fear when you see patterns with lots of holes. It is a type of anxiety disorder.
Most people don't have a true fear of holes.
You may have heard about Doja cat's outfit
that's been on social medias and news. Doja cat is a rapper-singer who decked
out in an all red ensemble with over 30,000 hand applied swarovski crystals.
However, some netizen trolled the singer relentlessly claiming that it
triggered their trypophobia whereas this appearance of doja cat also led to a
controversial prediction that her outfit represents pimples (here crystals)
with periods, several memes are too sufacing upon social media about the
outfit.
Awareness for periods and confidence among each
and every person to openly talk about this most important thing in women's
life. It is very normal and obvious to have periods which have to be had no
shame for this. Doja's bold and unique look was a great portrayal of both fashion and awareness which
motivated me to throw some lights on the topic. This extravagant outfit and
controversies encouraged me to take this topic.

5 THINGS WILL MAKE YOUR PERIODS MORE
COMFORTABLE:-
1) WEAR
COMFORTABLE CLOTHES:-
Choose clothing that is loose, not tight or
constricting. This is especially important around your waist and stomach area.
Select underwear that is able to hold sanitary products in place. Wear clothing
that breathes, to avoid feeling sweaty or hot.
A. Choose
an old pair of underpants. That way you will not mind so much if they get
stained and you can use them as a spare for emergencies.
B. You
can also try to wear shorts that are wide to conceal the pad (if you are using
one).
C.Loose,
elasticized clothing is ideal for bloating and comfort. Sweatpants and
sweatshirts are great clothing for when you are on your periods.
2) TRY
TO CONTROL MOOD SWINGS:-
Stay away from things or people that upset you
until you feel better. Most moodiness that accompanies a period passes quickly.
Try going to bed earlier at night, to sleep it off.
HOW TO AVOID MOOD SWINGS:-
I.
SLEEP. Not getting enough
sleep can kill your mood if you are week away from your period try to get
sufficient sleep.
II.
EAT A BALANCED DIET
III.
JUST RELAX
Though it is said that you should not work out during your periods but light exercises, like walking may reduce the cramps and make you feel energetic. Avoid exercises that pressurize your abdominal area.
4) STAY HYDRATED:-
Try to have sufficient water. Mostly you feel dehydrated during periods, as hormones affect your hydration level. This can make you feel light heated during periods.
Groups of symptoms that occur in women typically between ovulation and a period.
Include:-
a) Menstrual cramps
b) Water retention
c) Acne
5) Hangout with your friends:-
The best way to feel comfortable is when you are around your friend as well as family, being in your comfort zone and great surrounding helps you to be distracted and you can enjoy time with your loved ones.
Okay, for the one who like to be alone, try to spend some time to listen music, take a walk ,make yourself ready go on a solo date, you can also take a hot water bath that helps your body to relax.
PREFERNCE:-
As per the responses I got on my google form it shows that majority of the peoples prefer comfort over fashion during periods.
97.3% as per the data people prefer comfort .
As per the preference(data) , most of girls prefer sanitary pads over other products for periods.91.9% girls find sanitary pads comfortable during periods.
As per the data, 40.5% of girls have fear of stain during periods .No matter how careful one is during periods. There is fear of stain maybe 32.4% for girls as per the data.
Do you think we are still living in the orthodox menstrual stigma (thinking) ?

reviews:-
yeah there are still those peoples who thinks women as impure when they're on periods, they won't allow them to visit temples and also isolate them sometimes they aren't allowed to sit with others and are asked to use different stuffs..they don't allow women in kitchen too and also restrict them from going out of their houses especially at night. We are going technically ahead and developing as well but socially we're still backward!
Yes I do ,we have to talk about it openly just like some family our open minded but society pressure them to think like them so we should give platform for this and talk about this and especially it's not necessary to wrap pads with newspaper while we are purchasing it from medical .
Yes, in some houses there are still some myths followed which have no logic in them. I think periods should not be a taboo and everyone should know about it what happens ,how it feels and why girls behave different, this all happens because of hormonal changes in the body. It's so normal and every girl go through this every month so let's talk about it and be comfortable with this topic.
No. I think all that believe that we used to listen from our elder ones doesn't exist anymore because there are more forward women and girls nowadays with a broader mindset and period is a natural human body cycle there is no thing as orthodox about.
WHAT DIFFERENT WOMEN FEEL ABOUT PERIODS?
Hello, I am Dr. Nisha Sadhwani.
When it comes to talking about Menstruation (periods), i always feel the need to first talk about periods openly, our society and the mentality is slowly changing and growing, but, there’s still a part of us having fear to talk about PERIODS and it gets gender-biased somewhere, i think both Men and Women should know and have equal right to know about periods to impart the right knowledge to their sisters, mothers and other female relatives and make them feel comfortable in their Menstruation phase. Talk about all the sanitary products available, there’s been a lot of false information going out among teens for menstrual hygiene products, because they don’t talk about it.
We, women and mostly, young girls, still feel uneasy when it comes to wearing lighter shade colours or clothes which may give shape to their body, and constantly, fear about how the world is watching them.
This stigma(thinking) has to go, and that can only happen, if both the genders talk about it normally, because,
Periods are part of a woman’s life. They are normal. They are crucial. Talk about it more.
#Letsfeelfree.
And guys, talk to your girls about that.
Thank you.
Hi I’m Priyanka Shewani
Stains are a woman’s biggest fear during “those” days of the month. No matter how careful one is there are always some accidents.
When I have my period, I generally don't like to wear anything that touches my body — especially in the summer. I gravitate toward loose shorts, body-skimming dresses, and heavier fabrics. I'm forever paranoid so my only outfit hack is the same one that worked in 8th grade: a jacket around my waist. Other than that, it's just about being comfortable. I love shorts, which have a super comfy elastic waist and I have them in almost every print. They look good with anything, a vintage tee or an oversized tailored shirt. I often do some strong accessories to glam it up! A fun beaded bag or some drop earrings are always the move. And sunglasses always help when you're feeling a little under the weather.

Hello , I am Harshita Soni
For me period days are all about feeling comfortable than being worried about my looks or fashion clothings.
Wearing something skin-fit during periods only make me feel worst and so I always prefer wearing loose or baggy clothes and duh! I avoid clothes which sticks to me so I prefer outfits that doesn’t touch my skin.
On my periods I rock shorts and mini-skirts obviously not of denims, clothes of soft fabric instead of those are grating for my skin during my periods are best in my eyes plus during literally bad cramps through my periods I’m not concerned more for blood stains but for my body so I always opt inky colours rather than dull ones that shows off my stains swiftly.
